MEET SHANYN MAGUIRE

Founder of Pendulum Films and a member of the Canadian Media Producers Association (CMPA), Shanyn Maguire develops compelling material with an authentic perspective—always championing the director’s vision.
In 2019, Shanyn produced the short film “Plantonic,” which won Most Outstanding Short Film at the Reelworld Film Festival (Toronto) and Best Screenplay at the Vancouver Short Film Festival. Most recently, she co-created the documentary series “Vancouver Reno” for Magnolia Network as Executive Producer.
Her slate spans memorable scripted and unscripted stories. She’s passionate about the creative process—believing that the characters we meet and the messages we share can entertain and also bring people together.
